auroras and reindeers
Taken by Ole Salomonsen on February 20, 2014 @ As expected from the spaceweather forecast, the sky exploded tonight over northern Norway! 4-5 strong substorms, until it subsided at 01:00 UTC. In this shot I am shooting handheld 1.6sex exposures with my 1DX + Nikon 14-24 2.8 lens, laying on the frozen ground really close the the reindeer.
