Around 200 students gathered at St Stephen's Green in Dublin to protest at what they say was garda brutality at last week’s student protest.
The students marched to Pearse Street Garda Station.
The protest was organised by two groups called 'free education for everyone' and 'students in solidarity'.
In a statement, the organisers said it was important that people were not bullied off the streets.
