So sad. I know this is such a stupid question but I don't uderstand why they keep bringing children into the world. I know there is no birth control but to just keep having kids.

5000 dollars could help these people more than marrying ones self ( last set)

We spend billions on useless wars that should be spent feeding the poor.No wonder the world hates US.

Now come on dimduk, you should know that we have spent trillions to fight poverty around the world, the US. gives more in charity then any other nation! It would be more correct if you had complained about the billions we send to the U.N every year. And as far as the world hateing us, a lot of that comes from the very aid you want more of, in that it is either given to or seized by corrupt Governments that only give it out to the chosen few in favor, and the rest of the populace thinks we are causing that. I do agree about the wars comment in part though as we seem to have lost our stomache to really fight a war to win it, so maybe we better just give it up.

I think it is good for the photographers show the world what is going on, but I could not just take pictures.

No jobs, no food, no education - what else is there to do? Oh, how about we fuck a lot and bring more kids into this hell.

Kids are many times just as happy in poverty, if not happier, than kids in the 1st world. I served in Haiti, the kids I interacted w/ didn't have much, but I would say they were not so different. Yes we need to help those less fortunate, but we should remember the pitiful pictures sell the best, but limit the subject. When I send money to Haiti, I don't think of how sad the kids were, but what a great time I had playing w/ them and helping them work.

makes me embarrassed at how wasteful MOST Americans are. I know people wish to be born here but I have been to africa and although the poverty is saddening beyond belief, most the people I know there are happier and more content then the Americans I know. I will never be the same Post-Africa, now my days are filled with wishing I could go back there and keep helping...or helping myself as well.
